Work

Here are some links to some work I have done. the majority of what I do is AS2 programming, some php, and a fair amount of graphic design.

I will be updating this very soon to be a bit more graphic and to show some non-web work but in the mean time here it is.

Mike Tea
www.miketea.com
Mike is a friend of mine since college and one of the best illustrators I have met. His style can range from very tight and technical to organic and painterly. He handed over the psd’s and I coded it up in Flash.
Highlights: Completely data driven through xml, scripted motion design, zoomable images, simple artfull design.

Napa Valley Celebrations
www.napavalleycelebrations.com
Tracie Steuteville is a wedding planner in Napa Valley California. Her site for her planning business needed to capture the feeling of the events that she creates for her clients. We went with a muted subtle palet and soft flowing motion. She has been very pleased with the attention her site has recieved and we are currently working to update and expand the site with new version up soon.
Highlights: data driven, scripted animation, designed from concept to production.

Nutricor Labs
www.nutricorlabs.com
Nutricor Labs is an up-and-comming nutraceutical company specializing in the fitness industry. They wanted something simple and cost effective for the launch of thier company. It is simple, to the point and easy to navigate (one page). They have a very tight brand and it is well represented on the site. We are currently talking about a redesign that would update thier web presence to reflect the growth in there business.
Highlights: Cost effective, simple, efficient, well branded.

Studio AHK
www.studioahk.com
Ani Heinig is a painter that specializes in industrial realism and landscapes. Her style mirrors her subject matter with a mechanical precision and loose flowing brush strokes. She is just starting to show regularly I expect that she will soon be selling off the easel. For her site we went with something simple with flowing transitions. For the most part the site stays out of the way of her paintings as it should be.
Highlights: data driven, scripted motion, scripted xml driven color transitions, as2 oop gallery.

Jason Kimura
www.jasonkimura.com
Jason is a mortgage broker in Salt Lake City working with a diverse range of clients. I can say from personal experience that he is one of the most honest people around in an industry of sharks. Jason basically said “do what ever the hell you want”. So I did. The entire interface is built around the “golden mean”. Each panel on the site is devided into thirds and progressivly getting smaller creating the shape of a spiral. Once you click anywhere on the interface, you don’t have to click to explore the sections of the site. Listners are used to track the mouse and time how long you have been hovering over a section to make the sections automatically open. All of the data is dynamic. The interface automatically calculates the available screen realestate and moves to fill the space.
Highlights: Data driven, expandable UI, full screen, scripted animation, designed from concept to production, art-nerdy golden mean interface.
